So... I woke up at 3 a.m. and wanted to draw Babe, the Big Blue Ox from the Paul Bunyan stories. I don't know what that means.

Like I said in the last post, I have been co-teaching an animation class to high school and middle school kids the last two weeks. I haven't had a lot of time to work, but bere is a quick painting I did while the kids were working on their walk cycles.

Like, 3 or so dwarves...

I have been working on re-designing the seven dwarves for fun/practice. I wasn't originally going to post the sketches separate from the finals but I've been teaching an animation workshop at school and haven't had time to do a lot of work the last week or so. So..... because I don't want to go too long without posting, I figured I'd throw some sketchbook pages up.

This is the first piece of concept art I've done for the newest version of my senior thesis. The working title is simply Wind.

Mega Smile

I was watching Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon the other day while I was working and I love the part where they first reveal Megatron with his sort of "wayfaring wanderer" look. So I did a little painting practice using one of the scenes from that sequence.
