Okay, so my visual development project this semester is called Oni Roll and it centers around three sushi chefs in medieval Japan who are, of course, much more than their appearance would suggest. I was going to show these guys one at a time, but I put them together in a quick line up and figured I would just show them that way. Anyway, more characters form Oni Roll to come, but here are (from left) Mac, Tong and Bolo!

Ol' Red Hands
I wanted to try my hand at a painting with a little more "realism" to the style and details so I made this over the weekend. Ol' Red Hands is a character I've had in my head for a long time. I envision him as a sort of shaman/warrior in the Appalachian Mountains with the ability to shape shift into a wolf. He would cause havoc for early settlers and what not.
