Hades... and friends

One of my self-assigned projects for summer breaks has been to do my own version of the Greek pantheon... plus Hades of course. I've sketched about half of them and finished the first one, also Hades. I decided to post them I as get them done and then I'll probably post them as a "line up" when they are all done. Anyway, here's number one:

Senior thesis? Is that you??

Ok, so I have a new idea for my senior thesis. I've already boarded it out. And I'm doing it. No matter what. I hope. So, here is a quick concept sketch... it's not much, but I wanted to post something today.

Also, I made my first Photoshop brush for this!!!!!! (It's the grass.)

My Version of the Seven Dwarves

So... much like my last post, the idea for making these guys came to me at about 3 a.m. I doodled them in my sketchbook for a couple of weeks and posted some of those, but here finally is the cleaned up digital version of my take on the Seven Dwarves.

Blue Ox

So... I woke up at 3 a.m. and wanted to draw Babe, the Big Blue Ox from the Paul Bunyan stories. I don't know what that means.

So, I watched Feng Zhu's tutorial that came with the latest Imagine FX and got super inspired to try and crank out some digital paintings. Here's one I did today...

Like I said in the last post, I have been co-teaching an animation class to high school and middle school kids the last two weeks. I haven't had a lot of time to work, but bere is a quick painting I did while the kids were working on their walk cycles.
