I just realized I hadn't shared the finished version of the short animation yet. It was an assignment calling for us to animate an effect.

Ok, so one of my little personal projects over spring break was to work out the final look of the main character of my senior thesis piece, Amphora. Here is a look at the history of the main character, Amphora, leading up to the "final" version of her that I just completed. Very exciting...

Finna' Animate

This is a background painting for my special effects animation in Animation 2. It is also a scene for my senior thesis, Amphora, and could potentially be my first completed artwork for the final piece! Well, I guess I'm not totally sure about that, but I liked how it turned out and wanted to share...

I didn't post a lot over my winter break, but I did thumbnail out what I hope will be my entire final project/senior thesis (it took me a lot longer than I thought it would, even with itty bitty sketches). The project is called "Amphora", and I'll probably post on it a lot over the next year and a half or so. Anyway, I wanted to get a first round of storyboards done to include it with my "junior year" portfolio. I plan to clean it up in Photoshop later, but here are the thumbnails.
